Back in 2007, Marcus co-founded Halcyon Knights, which grew into one of APAC’s largest tech staffing firms — boasting 120 staff, 800 contractors, and $150M in revenue across Australia, NZ, and Singapore by 2022.
Over 16 years, Marcus crafted a playbook to fast-track new hires; originally delivering it in person with a whiteboard, a ring-bound, paper-based manual and his signature energy. Long before “microlearning” was a thing, his training broke the recruitment lifecycle into bite-sized, actionable chunks — what he playfully called “zingers”: mic-drop moments of wisdom that stuck!
Marcus later launched the “Million Dollar Billers Club" — a training academy that churned out over 30 ultra-high achievers (yep, $1M+ billers). This set a sky-high standard, cementing Halcyon Knights as a breeding ground for elite business developers. Many alumni went on to start their own successful agencies or excel in top sales roles across tech and financial services.
